Lake Time!!!

My friend Carleen invited us out to the lake on her family's boat!   We had such a good time out there.  Zoie did so good for her first time being on a boat!  She just took it all in.  Watched everyone tube and even when the water would splash up into the boat (which the adults would complain about) she just took it like a champ!  I love that she can just go along with whatever we do.  She is such a wonderful blessing in our lives!

We bought this for her at Big 5 the day before for 25 bucks, but then we went garage sale shopping the morning we went to the lake and found two different life jackets for 50 cents and they fit her better!  What a FIND!!!

They had tube wars...while they were being pulled they would jump back and forth from the tubes and try knocking the other team off...it was awesome!

Back on the shore ZZ enjoyed her pack and play, some shade, and a piece of licorice!

I loved being in the sun!  I used to come out every day in the summer with my friends in high school.  We lived on this lake, and since I got married this is only our 2nd time out together!  It was definitely needed!

By the way I didn't get my surgery done.  I chickened out and went boating instead!  :)
