Lake Time!!!

My friend Carleen invited us out to the lake on her family's boat!   We had such a good time out there.  Zoie did so good for her first time being on a boat!  She just took it all in.  Watched everyone tube and even when the water would splash up into the boat (which the adults would complain about) she just took it like a champ!  I love that she can just go along with whatever we do.  She is such a wonderful blessing in our lives!

We bought this for her at Big 5 the day before for 25 bucks, but then we went garage sale shopping the morning we went to the lake and found two different life jackets for 50 cents and they fit her better!  What a FIND!!!

They had tube wars...while they were being pulled they would jump back and forth from the tubes and try knocking the other team off...it was awesome!

I loved being in the sun!  I used to come out every day in the summer with my friends in high school.  We lived on this lake, and since I got married this is only our 2nd time out together!  It was definitely needed!

By the way I didn't get my surgery done.  I chickened out and went boating instead!  :)

Summer Fun in the SUN!

 So one day we got Zoie's pool set up out side and enjoyed the warm weather together as a family!

Then we decided to go for a little ride out in the hills!  Thanks Grandpa John and Grandma Ida for the wheels!

Utah Trip!

Last Thursday Nate, Zoie, my mom, Brent and I all went to Utah for some Dr appts.  I went to find out that I guess I should have my gal bladder taken out to be on the safe side for when we decide to have another baby!  Uhhhhh I hate going under and I'm nervous about not being able to nurse Zoie for her bed time feeding.  She can make it through the day with out nursing but her bed time one is a big deal.  So we will see how it goes with a bottle.  Did I mention she wont take a bottle?  Yup so should be a fun night! ;(

We had a good day traveling though, here are a few pictures from our trip.

We ate out, went shopping and was on our way again.  Quick and easy!

Relay For Life!

A couple of weeks ago Elko had its Relay For Life!  Our dance studio has a team called TuTu's for TaTa's.  The whole team wears tutus during the walk and our team performed a few numbers for entertainment.  The cowboy dance is a routine that I choreographed!  It was a little hard performing on grass because they had just aerated (sp?) a couple days before.  But all in all it was a good turn out and definitely for a great cause!!
It was fun having so many family members there!  It was like a Knudsen Reunion! 

We are all so happy that Jill is doing well and happy to be apart of a great fundraiser to help her!
