Nate's Art Final

Okay so Nate had to take this art class for is Electrical degree and he had to pick certain events, life changing events, and special people in his life and then draw a picture and explain them and draw all 9 drawings into one drawing. I had to hand in his work for him friday morning while he was at work so before I did I snapped some pictures of them and wanted to share them and what he had to say about them hope you enjoy! (I didn't add the combined picture it was way confusing for us not so artsy people)

When I decide to draw this picture, I had no idea what you wanted to see. I thought about different drawing techniques we learned over the semester and this one came to mind. I felt that I could implement all my drawings into one in this manner. It may look a little confusing, but if you look hard you can see every creation. The hat is for my grandpa, even though I was young when he past away, he's influence upon me and others has made me want to always keep the family name in good standings. He was the kind of man that everybody loved and all children called him grandpa. Anyone would have been blessed to know him and learn from him. the ballet shoes for my dance enthused wife, My Wife. She has shown me to be loved and to love is one of the greatest things in the world. Her support in everything I do keeps me going everyday. I never knew you could care so much about one person.

the ring for the blessed day of my wedding, Choosing my Wife. I've chosen my best friend to stick with me through life's up and downs for eternity. This has been a choice that will continue to shape my life for the better. the halo for an angel kissing me during my accident, I had an accident at the age of two where I was hit by a car leaving a scar on my face. I have learned through this experience that horrible things can happen and change your appearance but does not have to change your personality or out look on life. the lightning for electrical program, Choosing to become an electrician and going to Electrical school has given me direction for my future. and the little baby for the new addition in my family. Choosing to bring a child into the world. This child's life is my complete responsibility to take care of and to love no matter what the situation is. This choice has changed me from an ordinary man to a father. I now look at everyday things as a father would. There is also the spilt glass to remind every one that accidents happen, Back in high school a girl spilt a drink on her lap and just said "OH MAN" and started cleaning it with out a big fuss. She just felt that some things can not be changed so why get upset about it. This has always stuck with me. Thinking in that manner can make a lot of annoying accidents not so bad.and the CTR to remind me to choose the right of serving a mission. Serving a Mission for the L.D.S Church. I learned responsibility, guidance and direction for my life. I learned to love and understand all kinds of people. This has strengthened my faith spiritually and physically in all aspects of life. Last but not least is the flower; this represents the love and purity of my mother. My Mom. She has the greatest way of saying I love you with out really saying it. Family to her is greater than any item or amount of money. She can make a bad situation into a learning one. Everyone always says this, but I truly have the best Mom in the world. I really hope you enjoy this art work. Thank you.
