We took Zoie on her first trip to Utah to visit some friends, family, and go shopping. We decided to leave Friday morning at 4:30 am since we can wake Zoie up at 4:00 am and she will go back to sleep until about 9 or 10 that way she would sleep the whole trip. Successful! She did, it was so nice. Nate and I had a nice quite ride and a good talk! We didn't realize how much we missed traveling just for that reason. We stopped at a church parking lot and fed Zoie and let her stretch her legs before putting her back in the car seat to visit some friends and do some shopping. Zoie did very well on the whole trip she slept through all the shopping and when we ate out, Uncle Nick woke up Sunday morning and said "that is the best baby, I thought for sure I would wake up to her crying" Zoie sleeps in her boppy in her cradle so we just brought that along and put it on the couch while we were on a mattress on the floor and she felt right at home...it was great! Our test of how she would do traveling was a good one! (Now for the long Thanksgiving trip to grandpa Fred's in California)

Dani- that is great that zoie slept the whole trip! i sure do miss those days!! it is so fun to go on trips because like you said, you have time to chat with each other and nothing else to distract you!! glad you had fun in UTAH!! love you and miss you!

Wow I miss those days of Cache sleeping the entire drive to Utah. Andrea and I had dentist appts on Monday in Sugarhouse and He screamed the entire way! Hopefully it was just because we were coming down with something and it's not a new habit he's getting into! They are so much fun enjoy every minute!
I can't believe you were in UT and we didn't know! She is so cute! I love all the pics, especially with Nick - he will soon have his awaking to being a dad!!
