Bon Voyage Elle
Well we have had Elle for over a year and with in the last 3 months she just started chewing everything she can get to, dig to china everywhere, and she learned to climb the fence, jump on the dog house and get out of the kennell. Well she pushed her last button when she chewed up the new part of the deck Nate just finished. So we decided to find her a new home which is really hard for Nate because they had a really good relationship, but it will be the best for her so shes not always in trouble with us and we can have our yard back. We sure miss the little mut!
Dance Stuff
The studio I teach at had their recital a couple weeks ago and Nate and Monica helped out with the spot lights for some of the dances. Im so grateful that my husband is so willing to help out with something I care so much about. The studio also participated in the Relay for Life this weekend. All the walkers in our group wore TUTU's that the owners made and yes all the husbands wore them so not just mine but they were a hit. They were not planning on selling any of them but people started asking to buy them. Nate was a great sales men struttin' his stuff in his cute purple and pink tutu. HA HA!!! So the girls spent most of the time in the tent making more tutu's as they were ordered while the guys walked.
Nates Graduation
All the hard work Nate did in the back yard for the BBQ didn't even get to be seen!

The day he graduated the weather was so nice that morning and an hour before the BBQ it started to rain and nasty gray clouds came over...so we moved it to the church. But the party still was nice to get family and friends together..JPG)

Nate's Art Final
Okay so Nate had to take this art class for is Electrical degree and he had to pick certain events, life changing events, and special people in his life and then draw a picture and explain them and draw all 9 drawings into one drawing. I had to hand in his work for him friday morning while he was at work so before I did I snapped some pictures of them and wanted to share them and what he had to say about them hope you enjoy! (I didn't add the combined picture it was way confusing for us not so artsy people)
When I decide to draw this picture, I had no idea what you wanted to see. I thought about different drawing techniques we learned over the semester and this one came to mind. I felt that I could implement all my drawings into one in this manner. It may look a little confusing, but if you look hard you can see every creation.
The hat is for my grandpa, even though I was young when he past away, he's influence upon me and others has made me want to always keep the family name in good standings. He was the kind of man that everybody loved and all children called him grandpa. Anyone would have been blessed to know him and learn from him.
the ballet shoes for my dance enthused wife, My Wife. She has shown me to be loved and to love is one of the greatest things in the world. Her support in everything I do keeps me going everyday. I never knew you could care so much about one person.
the ring for the blessed day of my wedding, Choosing my Wife. I've chosen my best friend to stick with me through life's up and downs for eternity. This has been a choice that will continue to shape my life for the better.
the halo for an angel kissing me during my accident, I had an accident at the age of two where I was hit by a car leaving a scar on my face. I have learned through this experience that horrible things can happen and change your appearance but does not have to change your personality or out look on life.
the lightning for electrical program, Choosing to become an electrician and going to Electrical school has given me direction for my future.
and the little baby for the new addition in my family. Choosing to bring a child into the world. This child's life is my complete responsibility to take care of and to love no matter what the situation is. This choice has changed me from an ordinary man to a father. I now look at everyday things as a father would.
There is also the spilt glass to remind every one that accidents happen, Back in high school a girl spilt a drink on her lap and just said "OH MAN" and started cleaning it with out a big fuss. She just felt that some things can not be changed so why get upset about it. This has always stuck with me. Thinking in that manner can make a lot of annoying accidents not so bad.
and the CTR to remind me to choose the right of serving a mission. Serving a Mission for the L.D.S Church. I learned responsibility, guidance and direction for my life. I learned to love and understand all kinds of people. This has strengthened my faith spiritually and physically in all aspects of life.
Last but not least is the flower; this represents the love and purity of my mother. My Mom. She has the greatest way of saying I love you with out really saying it. Family to her is greater than any item or amount of money. She can make a bad situation into a learning one. Everyone always says this, but I truly have the best Mom in the world. I really hope you enjoy this art work. Thank you.
Also here are some other ones he drew I thought were really good!

Yard Work
I keep having people tell me that I must be in that nesting stage of being pregnant because I want so many things done around the house and my husband is only one man. Well I know that, but the things that I would like to do I can't really do by myself any more, and I have this great husband who is worried about me over doing it and lifting things I shouldn't. I came from a family where it was my mom, and my sister for a long time. 3 girls on there own, we learned to do things by ourselves and move things that most women wouldn't think of doing. So I have tried to stay busy doing little things like CLEAN! but you can only clean your house so many times a week. Since the weather has been so nice this week I have been trying to stay out side and get things ready for the BBQ and just so we have a nice yard! Here are some of the the things I have been working on. I got some flowers for our pots and wishing well, and lined up the bricks for Nate to put in the ground for our flower bed. (something he wasn't very happy with me lifting haha, I do love that he worries though)

We started really early on getting our grass looking good this year and I'm feeling pretty dang proud of it, considering our old man neighbor pays to have his done and ours looks way better!!! HAHA! Look at the difference from last year!.jpg)
Nate has pruned the trees and the big hole in the middle of the yard that use to be a mud puddle is now thick nice grass. The plant in the grass is going in this barrel I just haven't planted it yet
and the last thing is our fence, our dumb blonde dogs chewed the crud out of the gate part so we replaced the boards and then I stained them today. Looks way better wish I would have had a before picture with it all chewed up. The boards don't match exactly but its okay still looks good.
Well that's about it for now. We will have a huge slide show of our back yard by next week hopefully of all the stuff Nate has done. Its amazing!!
